We go to my Aunt's house for Thanksgiving. I only have to bring green bean casserole. What I really would love is a slice of my Granny's chocolate pie. It was soooo good!

I am deep frying a 15#. I wanted a turducken but couldn't find one when we went shopping. My wife is making sweet potatoes green beans a salad and a sweet potatoe pie.

Happy thanksgiving to all. May you have fun with friends and family.

I put the French fried onions mixed in and on top. I use Cream of Chicken and Cream of Onion soup with a little curry powder and sage. It's so good!

This is the first year my Dad won't be making his 'world famous' stuffing and vinegar and oil cole slaw. I will be making it. I hope mine turns out half as good as his always did. First I have to cube and dry a loaf of bread..........

This will be a great Thanksgiving. It's the first time ever we aren't all meeting at my Dad's for the holidays. But really, it was time for a change.
Things change, why sometimes sucks. It is the company that counts. Give your Dad a few big hugs.

Send me a pm of what it was like, I may be able to help. I worked as an executive chef for 30 years.

Hey thank you.
I think I am going to do one for Christmas. if i cant get one here i will drive to my family that live in Louisiana. If not I will make some Gumbo, from the leftover turkey with shrimp. Don't worry I put the turkey in the freezer. I can only eat turkey for a couple of days the rest goes in the pot.
