I've seen interviews from lightning strike survivors where they cannot recall the incident. I wonder if this guy went home and to bed, woke up the next morning and asked "why are my shoes melted?"
First time I watched it I was certain he was dead

I did some shake roofs up in the Seattle area back when we used roofing hatchets. (Before nail guns, for you kids) I worked with a guy named Sparky. He got his nickname because he was struck by lightning and came away none the worse for the experience.

Who's the park ranger guy from way back who was in the Guiness record holder for being struck more times than anyone in history? That guy never won the lottery. All he had was a bunch of park ranger hats with burn holes in them.

Sorry guys, if you pause it right on the second strike you can see the shadow from the van; the source of the light is coming from right under the camera.
