Well, the article is pretty much tongue in cheek- but I DO own 8 of the 10. However, the flaw in his base premise- my 12 yr old grandaughter shooting partner shoots 7 of the 10. So much for the "manly-viking-man" thing!

The list cut in, but read the article. Good for a smile. Would just substitute the Redhawk 44 for the 29 and a pre-64 Win Mod 70 for the K31, and the M1 Garand for the Nagant for my list. FWIW

Yeah that is close, but you have to have the M14, M21, M25 in the list somewhere.

Any list that is listed as the "manliest" and includes the Glock automatically gets disqualified.

That, and he doesn't list the most popular boltgun for tactical ( read Alpha Male-ness ) applications in the Remington 700.

Double Fail.

DefaultMan or just crazy

If you talking truly manly, my vote goes to the Holland and Holland 600 Nitro Express. That one heck of a double rifle. Even a 450 Nitro express with a 480 gr. bullet makes for some quite interesting watching. I have seen some pretty good flinches even when the hammer was dropped on a empty chamber. H.J.
