Very sorry for your loss, Jo. It's probably no comfort right now, but at least she didn't have to linger on deteriorating, and was surrounded by her loved ones.

My thoughts are with you.

My nephew whom my wife and I raised as our son, did a tour in the US Army was now home worked at a local school had his own place and supported himself, (some help from us here and there with food). He came to our house to “bum some hotdogs and Mac and cheese” as he would say. Chatted and part of good byes was always I love you. His response varied by his mood, but that night it was “me too”

The next night he was brutally & savagely murdered stabbed over 50 times and his body covered in snow in a swamp 50 yards in from the road. By a miracle he was found a week later and his murderers arrested.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS tell your family you love them because it might be the last chance you get to say it.

Mike I love you and Miss You

Sorry to hear! Aneurysms are scary things. I've known several of people who have passed from them.
