Default Technical Articles & Write-Up Submissions Forum?

Hello,

What's that area for? It's marked "private" but I can see it.

There are no posts in it.

I don't recall seeing it before. Is it new?

Regards,

Josh

It looks like an easier way to submit articles for FirearmsTalk publication. No one has submitted one yet. You could be the first. The rules and stickies are locked to prevent clutter and descent.

Thanks. I wondered.

I have a bunch of articles I've published over the years and probably should do another. My areas of strength are Mosins and 1911s. I'll have to think of something I can write that would be of the most interest to folks here.

Thanks again,

Josh

It's a discussion area for articles, as well as a submission platform. I have written a few here as well, before starting the podcast. I have a suggestion for an article for you Josh. How about doing an Article on 1911's in other then 45ACP? I don't shoot 4-45ACP 1911's because all except for the lightest power loads hurt my already Damaged Back and Shoulders, so I switched to 9MM over 5 years ago. There are very few 9MM 1911's. I finally got one 3 months ago. ( Rock Island 5" Tactical)

Doc, you should check out the .38 Super round, milder recoil than .45, more umps than 9mm.

Apologies for thread 'jacking.

Thanks Gator,.. I know,..I wish I could swing a Les Baer Super Stinger. I had a 38 Super conversion with 3 mags for my Series 80, sold it for a a Full gun to someone with 12,000 rounds of reloads,..he was shooting the round more then I was,..I may get the Rock island 22TCM/9MM,...seems to have the same promise performance wise,...great Gun to carry "shoulder holster" under a well cut Jacket.

I will be on the burn pile for this comment! Time to stir the pot!

Glock's are always of interest.

If things were more positive for me I would write some articles. I am not going thru the hate to say I posted an article.
