Default Target holders?

No I'm not looking for volunteers although I have met some people who would should have this job!

Does anyone know a a company that make an inexpensive binder or carrier for holding targets and keeping them from getting bent and curly? I like to use Visicolor targets as I can see the results easily, and since I'm on a limited budget as most of you probably are I would like to use them to the max. The ones I use measure ~19"x14" (this being the necessary interior dimensions of the holder.

Even the cheap paper targets get all bent so if there is such a beast please lets get it out there. Office supply stores want a left testee for large print holders.

Also is there a place to order these (Visicolor) at a discount without buying a extremely large quantity?

Cut the sides out of a large cardboard box.
Duct tape the bottoms togather.
Punch a couple of holes about 6" apart near the top center.
Use some nylon cord for handles.
End result? Large print holders on-the-cheap!

Brian,

Thanx, I was thinking of bending a piece of thin cardboard in half the proper size and using the old 200MPH tape on it. The hole for a handle is a great idea. I was hoping to have something a little nicer looking, but that would work. I did find an art portfolio case on the net that would have been perfect for $20 but the store that carried it no longer has it, and no one else seams to carry that cheap of product. I'll keep looking and post if I find something.

What do the rest of you do, shoot at bent and curly targets? Or just such good shots that all the bull eyes are shot out and they are not longer useful.

To heck with paper...cardboard is the way to go! Paper plates are rather inexpensive also. You've probaly got several potential targets within arms reach right now. Just have to be creative. When you shoot alot, you recycle!

I staple paper targets, store bought or homemade, to peice of plywood and use a steel t-post to hold it up. I used to work construction and still have stacks of plywood in the barn.

Always recycle, two liter bottles full of water make good targets, and you'll definately know when you hit em.

If you have an outdoor range, 0bama Biden signs make good targets. I bet they would give you one for free.
