Man I wear a ton of camo stuff. Cargo shorts whenever the weather is over 45 degrees. I am not tacticool though. I gravitate to more earthy colors to begin with and mossey oak is the Ky state flag. I don't wear many camo shirts though. I have no reason why, I just thought about it and it occurred to me I have several camo pants and shorts but only maybe one or two shirts.

Stains don't show near as much on camo colored clothing.

maybe i ought to start wearing camo shirts to work! might save some time in washing by getting the stains out. they would just blend in!

Oh, I do have a couple pair of military boots. One pair Belville that are rated for flight (that's what it says anyway) they have gortex in them. And a pair of the sage green Welco Air Force surplus boots. Man those things wear great.

.... What the hell does any of it matter? A gun is a gun. Stop judging the gun and start paying attention to who's holding it. This point has been beat to death. The horse is dead. You need to stop whipping it or you're going to have some hard questions to answer here shortly.

It's not that simple.

Being in good overall physical shape is one of the greatest predictors of success in conflict (other than shooting skill).

When you have strong shoulders you have a greater ability to stabilize that firearm for a much longer time than a weaker man, which leads to more accurate shooting, especially when fatigued.

You can also throw the rifle from left to right faster and so more accurately to face another axis of threat if need be.
Strong core and legs allow you to carry more ammo/water and still retain similar agility to a lighter loaded weaker man . Or conversely when carrying the same load, exhibit superior agility.

etc etc

PS: I work out 6-9 times a week.

I have an AR because at the time I put it together 5.56 ammo was cheaper than 22 wmr ammo. The AR is now in the safe and I am shooting the 22 wmr again. I did buy a Marlin XT with a synthetic stock. Not because the synthetic shoots or feels better but I can tame a lion with the rifle. Then fill in the teeth marks with bondo and give it a shot of rustoleum. It looks like new!
