Supermoon 2013 PICTURES

Hey guys. As well as a shooter, I am also a freelance photographer. Last night there was a super moon and I took some shots as well as a few more a week before to prepare for the moon.

Yeah I caught this one right after rise. It was hard cause there was city light coming in and clouds ALL OVER. So I ran outside and setup and shot. Was lucky to get the window I did. I almost took one with lightning in the background but my window ran out and she disappeared into her darkness, my old friend. Thanks and glad you liked!

Good shots- Thanx! We live far enuff in the sticks we have little light pollution (other than cloud scatter from city 30 miles away. When grandsons were smaller, they used to come out on summer nights for viewing moon, Saturn's rings, and some of Jupiter's larger moons. Had a little Cassegrain scope that worked well for those.

I need to invest in a telescope really bad. Creating memories is what it is all about! Light pollution stinks but there are ways to get around it. Glad you liked the shots!

Want fun, change white balance to florescent before taking moon shots :)

Little confused how you have sharp photos and blurry photos? FXIF data was missing so I couldn't see what lenses you were using.

I returned my friends 2x teleconvertor about a month ago... luckily we had overcast skies so didn't feel so bad.

I actually have a set of fixed photos of the same shots. I got a tip from a fellow photographer to mess with the sharpness. I am in no way an expert. Thanks and I will try the white balance thing!
