I have a stupid question, when talking about a rifle's accuracy, what does "MOA" mean?

Correction it is Minute or Arc. It is = to 1/60th of 1 degree in a circle.

Commonly known as minute of angle. Or, if you shoot like I do, it's minute of moose.

Minute of arc (or angle)= 1.0471975511966" @ 100 yards.
Not truely 1", but pretty darn close.
In combat handgun parlance MOA is Minute of A$$hole. It represents the ability to accurately hit a bad guy at a given distance.

MOA Alternate Definition: Maximum Oblitteration Ammunition.
....(1) Any projectile that has an exit (wound area) 272 times larger than that of the entry orafice... It is said "that's some bad MOA, bro'".
....(2) Any projectile that has an impact value that is equal to "=", or greater than">" your being hit by a fully loaded Mack Truck traveling 77.2 MPH without any attempt to stop. It's commonly called ESF on the street, or, commonly said as: "DUDE, that's got some Extreme Splat Factor".
