You say something, someone likes it (or you) and gives a "thumbs-up".
Then your "liked" number increases.

There are restrictions that you cannot "like" your own post, but you pay a good buddy $5 for each time they hit the like on your post (but trip is cheap and will do it for nothing)

When I read a post that impresses me with the wisdom, quality, thoughts, compassion, humor, or values of the poster, and i wish to express to them my agreement or appreciation of their post, I can click on the little "thumbs up" icon beneath their post. That goes into a "likes " message at their post, and they get a note that a post was well recieved by their peers.

On the other hand, you feel that a poster is being an ass, a troll, a flamer, is posting spam, illegal acts, child porn, clubs baby seals- WHATEVER that should NOT be here, and is a violation of the terms of the forum, over to the left of their post is a ! in a triangle.

Click that, Mods get a message to come check it out- if needed, napalm the offender, and wait for the wind to scatter their ashes.

SOME of you using smartphones are hitting that when you mean to reply to a message . Hint- user must be smarter than the phone.

Do NOT use the ! just because you disagree with the poster.

We have often felt you were short of a few buttons, but we were too kind to mention it.

Some of the devices other than PCs will have a slightly different appearance. Since I am an abacus on the information superhighway, I have no clue if that can be changed. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Where's the "I don't like this, this is stupid, Thumbs down" button. How can we get one of those installed on here?

"Hint- user must be smarter than the phone."

I knew there was a catch.

If you log in through Safari, you get to see the thumbs up buttons, emoticons, etc. I use Safari more than the FTF app.
