Default Stump the Shihan
OK Folks Shihan said he is a bug guy so here is my Challenge to him.

He will ID bugs as you post them. What I want is this.

1. pictures must be your own pictures
2. no blurry pics. "The Blob" is not a correct answer it was a movie.
3. please look up the bug yourself first.
4. Shihan should not use the internet. You should use your vastly superior brain and maybe a reference manual.... If reference is used please note it.

Bug #1 as seen on my front porch clinging to the brick.


Bug #2 Tried to attack and eat me while I was cooking dinner at 9 pm Saturday night. I looked and looked all over and could not figure out what this one was.

Bug #1 is the White Flannel Moth.

Bug #2 is a Longhorned beetle, tough to see the picture to tell exactly which one.

I have been at work. But will catch you up soon.

Picture is a little tough, but it appears at first glance to be a Yellow Sac Spider. A more focused picture would be helpful.

Keep in mind there are times that I need a Microscope to properly identify. Most times I can get it pretty close if not right.
A lot goes into proper identification.
