Default Today is the day

Tomorrow the fun begins. The Blackhawks and The Stanley Cup all meet at the United Center around 0900. The parade starts from there at 1030 and ends up at Grant Park where there will be a HUGE rally. I would love to be there. It's going to be crazy fun, I'm sure.

Neighbours tp'd the coaches house, as they did in 2010 and the Coach was honoured by the action.

I just heard Patrick Kane will probably be taking the Stanley Cup to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Chicago Saturday night, as he did in 2010.

I find this Stanley Cup celebration so interesting and fun.

I heard Don Cherry mumbling something about him being frozen but then he wouldn't say any more.

I've had cracked ribs and it is friggin' painful! They are tough, indeed.....most hockey players just won't back up.

And later, his lung collapsed. He just got out of the hospital today.

You just GOT to give props to those Bruins... This has been my second favorite cup run in memory... The 2006 run is still my favorite (for obvious reasons...)
I hear the boos for Bettman are finally starting to disapate at the Garden now. Honestly, why doesn't that jerk get someone else to present the cup???? He's the ego that ate the NHL and the multiple lockouts that have happened under his rule bare me out on that!!!

Those young men have class, yes, they do.

And Kane gave his top player belt to Corey Crawford at the rally. What a sweet jester and a great team player. You have to admire these guys...........I know I do. I tried to find a youtube video of it but it's not up yet.

That is one of the classiest moves I've seen in a long time.
