That's true. And if you ever get the chance to play a round of golf with some NHL players - do it. For guys that don't look real bulky and some who might not be more than 6 ft. (if that), can they ever smoke the ball!

There is some serious celebrating going on in Chicago. I wish my work schedule wasn't so busy and I was a little younger. I'd be right in there with them all.

The Stanley Cup has been seen all around Chicago including Harry Caray's Tavern on Navy Pier. Many opportunities to spend some time with The Cup and the players. It's been seen all over Chicago.

A parade through downtown Chicago on Friday. I'm missing out on all the fun.

Why does there always seem to be one bunch that can't celebrate something like winning the Stanley Cup without destroying other people's property? Grats to the Blackhawks for winning

They'll swing back to the belief that they can make people...better. And I do not hold to that. So no more runnin'. I aim to misbehave.” Mal Reynolds Serenity/Firefly

...You sound like you're coming down with a cold or flu to me. You'd better wrap things up and not come into the office... You might get others sick.

There are some that are being destructive but I do believe, for the most part, the celebrating has been positive. The Stanley Cup is being carried all over Chicagoland with a hoard of fans following.

I would love to go but I don't know The City well enough to want to venture there alone. I used to take the kids to the museums by myself when they were young but that's different than wandering around Downtown alone. And my "partner in crime" isn't around anymore.

Must be an epidemic I saw a headline that said "25% of Chicago's workforce has called in sick"

Winds I wasn't ragging on all the Chicago fans, I know that the bulk of them are probably good people but there is that small bunch that always try to ruin it for the rest. It also doesn't apply to just Chicago either, I've seen far too much of this kind of vandalism in other cities after their sports teams win something, if I recall the same thing just happened in Miami after the heat won the NBA championship.
