These kind of threads are what make this forum the best on the interwebz.

My lit teacher spent a year in England being a nanny. She said ya'll call oranges(fruit) something different. So what do you call oranges over there?

Sorry new one on me we still call them oranges. We do have names for the different varieties such as

Jaffa
Clementine
Manderin

I have found that the jokes were either very funny, or extremely stupid. None of them produced the "light chuckle" effect on me. I never did get that.
