Son On Cloud Nine
I went up to Michigan last week for some personal business and took with me, a very recently put together AR for my son who has been chomping at the bit for one but couldn't afford it right now.
Wow did he light up when he saw it. I spoke with him the day after and he told me he walked around the house with it for two hours when he got home, he couldn't put it down. Then he went out and bought a case, sights, more mags, ammo, etc.
Then, out of the blue, his father in law appeared and presented him with a new Browning Maxus Hunter semi auto shotgun. FIL said he needed a hunting partner. Now the kid was really flying high.
He now thinks that me and the FIL got together and planned this, but we had no idea that each other was giving him a gun. How cool!
