The silence before the city wakes up. That moment right before the roar of the interstate and people being jerks interrupts it.

I like tormenting kids on xBox live by killing them over and over and over again. Then watching their game play get even worse as their frustration escalates ..... resulting in them getting killed some more

It's even better if they have a headset on and you can hear the frustration in their voices

That's really evil, dog. I like that.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams

Some Simple Pleasures:

1) The smell of ozone when its raining.
2) Stopping for Biscuits and Gravy at the Donut Mill when headed up to go ice fishing.
3) Seeing my dog do the "bucking bronco" because he is so happy to see me.
4) Coming into the office in the morning and having no voicemails to return.
It's like paradise on Earth, enriched with the ever so sweet nectar of
elk urine.

When you're out there by yourself, you become who you really are.

Slicing off and eating the perfectly seasoned outside edge of a grilled 4lb Angus rib roast, just before slicing up the rest for dinner.

Going to the tail trail and seeing new boobies

Driving up US 50 out of the hot Sacramento Valley into the cool, lush National Forest and the smell of the fir and pine as you pass Placerville and head up to Kyberz.

The smell of the mountains in the morning and the wood smoke from the campfire.

The sound of the Silver Fork of the American River as it cascades over the bedrock and the anticipation of the trout that might be enticed into taking a fly on the first cast.

Almost forgot.....The smell of brimstone after I fire my muzzleloader!
People get the government they deserve.

Right now doesn't suck. There's the smell of fresh bread baking (for dinner), fireplace is blazing, dog is chewing on a bone, and I just cracked a cold one. There's several inches of snow and more is gently falling. The porch light is illuminating the yard and laced trees. And no one is bugging me for anything.
