Default Some Sad News - WeaponsMan

Don't know who among us followed the WeaponsMan blog. I check it every day and were wonderful blogs about weapons, their history, and Special Forces history. He had a way with words, with even the potentially dullest subject bringing a smile.

WeaponsMan's real name was Kevin O'Brien.

He died this morning, following a massive heart attack a few days earlier.

For those of you who enjoyed his blog, a prayer or two for him and his family (including "Small Dog Mk-II") is in order.

The web address for the WeaponsMan blog is The news of his death - posted by his brother, is the first topic.

Eventually, the site will probably be taken down as no one could do it justice (per his brother).

RIP, Kevin. Those who knew you will certainly miss you.

If naught else, it should be left up as long as possible,
as the information would be helpful for decades...

It's always sad when the firearms community looses a member,
moreso when they've provided valuable information!
