Default Some pictures and videos from the flood at my school today.

I go to a community college up a holler with a small creek called Mud Fork, and it just had it's worst flood in 50 years. So naturally, I took pictures and a video. All of the students were stranded so I had to get out by climbing up the mountain behind us onto the interstate, helped a bunch of people that lived out there up too.

Here's when it first started getting bad.

Here's out back later on.

The parking lot just before I left. Now, the corner of that building is a good 40 ft higher in elevation and 100 or so feet away from the very top of the creek bank, and the water's getting all the way up there.

Pics further up the valley.

The pictures really don't do it enough justice, so here's some videos.

That's almost biblical there. Sucks to be stranded. Does the water linger out there? We get flashfloods here that are gone in 2-3 hours.

In life, strive to take the high road....It offers a better field of fire.

Man, that is terrible. I'd be crying like a baby if I saw my car getting washed away in a flood. I hope everyone stays safe. What an awful situation.
