Just came in from watching it with the boys, anybody else see it ? Here in S/W Ohio it covered about a quarter of the sun (bottom right) I guess those of you out west will get a much better view. If you take any pics please post them.

Although we weren't in the area to see the annular part of the eclipse, we were able to see a good part of it before sunset. I was watching live streaming video from CA and NM on SLOOH on the interwebz.
We made a pinhole box to view it from here and it was pretty cool. I like that kind of stuff, I have a 4" telescope and look at the planets from time to time too.

I watched it here with welding goggles. Yes it was awesome.

It was pretty awesome here. I even "borrowed" a couple of welding shields from the steel erectors on my job. I confirmed my suspicions about my children during the eclipse too....when you tell them not to look at the sun, what do they do? And if you tell them to look at it, they are over poking the poor dog with a stick....it's time for a paternity test!

We almost had the full ring here but it was still pretty cool.
