There was an outbreak of drive by trolling a while back, so notdku had to lock down the tread. There are only 3 types of members who can enter those treads. Supporting Members, Mods, and members that were here before the lock down (we were basically grandfathered in). Pay the $15. Its for a good cause, you get access to the private forums, you get a cool decal, and you get a TON of other privileges.
I was just wondering where the $15 goes. I have no doubt that its used for a good cause, what is done with it exactly. I plan on becoming a supporting member no matter what's done with it, I'm just curious. With as much as I'm on here its worth 15 bucks to get to read a lil more and learn about more things that's currently restricted.

It costs money and time to support a forum like this. Your $15 goes to offset those costs.
