Ohhhhh well that clears it up then. I've been wondering how I became a supporting member. I didn't recall paying for it. My first thought was it happened for a free trial or something when I joined. But then my wife joined and she didn't become an SM so I knew that couldn't be it. Then I just figured some kind soul must love me and gifted me a supporting membership.

Apparently that's NOT the case. Perks of military I guess...

I must say, that's pretty neat. And I'm very thankful.

i wonder if they will let an over the hill 50 something guy like me enlist?

if so, i am going for the Marine Corps. they will either make me the toughest old guy or kill me in the process!

Haha. The Marine Corps won't take ya at that age, Axxe. The Army might. I've heard of stranger things coming out of the Army....

I believe the cut off age is 42. Could be wrong though. It was over ten years ago when I enlisted, and at 17, it wasn't exactly pertinent information to me.

For enlisting, I'm not positive. But for receiving a commission its definitely 28.
