Their is no reason to fear our Government.

Does the DMV or the Pos Office scare you?

Examine the ineptitude and inneficencies of both of these organization and recognize that every single part of the government... To include law enforcement is equally incompetent.

See to your own safety, always speak the truth, and never hesitate if forced to act.

We aren't in the shoes of those cops ( Thank God !!!! ) . I'm willing to wait for the investigations of these shootings of innocents . I'm also giving the police every benefit of the doubt for now .

If you read the manifesto, you know what the cops are up against . The choice is to be quick or dead, as the two officers who engaged him found out .

The French police were after a cop-killer years ago. The man had vowed not to be taken alive . One day he got into his car with his girlfriend . The back doors of a commercial van parked in front opened and French police emptied 2 submachineguns down into the car . The cop-killer died and his girlfriend was wounded .

Cop-killer Bruce Wazon Griffith died in a hail of .38 Special fire from 5 or so D.C. police officers while riding in a taxi cab .

Four English policemen hunting a cop-killer shot a man multiple times only to learn they had the wrong guy .

Critics have a lock on the cheap seats . There are no statues to critics . The police are a " thin blue line " or human beings and sometimes exhibit superhuman courage . It is fashionable in our leftist culture to denigrate the good and honor the bad ; to blame a 28-year-old neighborhood watchman without evidence and assume a 17-year-old did nothing wrong ; to make a hero out of a drunk driver who resisted arrest and was beaten by police who could have simply shot him ; to go after Fuhrman for racist remarks and ignore the solid police work he did .

I always give my local PD the benefit of the doubt but if were talking about the LAPD... well, if it walks like a duck and quacks like the Rampart Division... It's probably guilty and in dire need of some housekeeping.

The DMV and Postal employees don't as a general rule carry firearms. When they do, then yes I become very concerned (especially postal workers). In all reality the most the DMV and post office can do to you is urinate in your Cheerios and make you miserable.

On the other hand armed Government employees can kill you. Just ask Randy Weaver's wife, infant child and older son. Not that I agree with white separatist philosophy, but I didn't think it merited a death sentence. Then to put the cherry on top, the fellow that actually pulled the trigger on Weaver's wife got the same form reprimand that he received for losing a cell phone.

I can deal with incompetence, inefficiencies and ineptitude. Couple that with the ability to kill me, THAT makes me nervous at best.

I will be watching what CA is doing with their try at a gun grab, but I don't think that will happen on a national level. Instead, I think they will go back to their tried and true method of incrementalism. The tie in with Obama care will be the most likely avenue of attack.

Why are they shooting up Toyotas when they are looking for a Nissan?
'Cause they're both Japanese. Duh!

Getting back to the subject :
Lately there have been a string of disturbingly illogical, irrational and suicidal murders . Sandy Hook, Dykes' killing the school bus driver, the PTSD murder of people at a party and of a Park Ranger law officer, the PTSD murder of Chris Kyle, a former police officer 50 years old shooting himself and his wife to death and no doubt many I forgot or overlooked . And now a man with training and arms has declared war on the police with the assumption he will not survive .
These things almost never happened in the 60s and 70s ; Crimes had a reason, a rational basis . I get the feeling that something is wrong in our culture and in the way people are taught to think and reason . You hear people complain about a sense of entitlement, no repect for others, lack of civility, one-parent families and dishonesty .
Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree and the real problem is simply too many mentally ill people running loose .
When I see modern movies ( rarely ) and violent video games, I shudder at the thought that someone may be taking the stuff seriously . Mohammed and Malvo killed 15 or so people and Malvo cited " The Matrix " as the movie with all of the answers. Hinckley wanted to be the character from " Taxi Driver " . The North Hollywood shootout resembled one in a movie . Violent video games were played a lot by many of the school killers .
What is important now is to stop this man before he kills more people . It is not the time to disparage the LAPD as if they deserve this . It is time to discuss what armed citizens can do to help the police make our country safer . That can start with giving the police proper respect .

We have a President that preaches "Class Warfare". This appeals to and gives licenses to every loser in society to get even. The President blames the nations problems on the Rich or powerful. The more the President demonizes one class over another the more these crimes will happen. In every case it has been a gun man getting even with the oppressor. The gun men have been followers of the socialist lie.
