So far, his victims have been 2 innocent civilians, one of which was the daughter of a man Dorner had a grudge against and the cops he shot were random officers from a different force and patrol officers who tried to capture him . This man's manifesto is full of boilerplate anti-gun venom and admiration for anti-American leftists in the media and politics . That part won't be mentioned on T.V. but if he'd been a pro-gun reader of Soldier of Fortune, you'd hear it all day long .

I didn't. He was talking about someone dying, it could have been a family member, friend, fellow service member, etc. People getting shot and dying in front of you isn't a joking matter, imho.

The question I have is: why is the LAPD shooting up random civilians? Thus far I have seen reports of LAPD shooting three people in two incidents just for driving a vehicle similar to the one driven by the nutter.

Having shot with more than a few cops I'd say it's either dumb azz cops to scared and tired to make good decisions OR dumb azz cops exercising poor judgement in pursuit of a commendation.

Either way the common denominator is "dumb azz cops"...

...and knowing the LAPD, they will probably ALL get commendations for shooting the wrong people.

Which brings me back to my original statement, I am afraid of my Government. I wish I weren't. But I can't help but to think what if I had a pick up like that in LA today? Point of fact of I were in LA today I wouldn't drive any pick up until this situation stabilizes. Just seems like a common sense safety precaution.
