I make sure the steaks are at room temperature all the way through before tossing them on the grill. Works for me.

The waitress yelled at him "STEAK SAUCE?!?! Listen here buddy, you better Goddam well take a bite of your steak before you go asking for steak sauce at Jocko's. And if you want any Goddam steak sauce then, you can get the Hell out 'cause we don't have any!"

Then she stood there waiting with her hands on her hips and the entire restaurant watching.

Lameass mumbles "I like it on my french fries." as he is cutting his steak for a bite. Later on in the truck he says he actually feared for his safety.

Now THAT is how a steak oughta be done!

Viking I would if my wife wouldn't worry about the steaks being out. No biggie. Rains quit its on. Corn and taters two ways, Cajun and Italian steaks on! Little brew too.

great story! putting steak sauce on one of my steaks i cooked would be like slapping my grandmother in front of me. both will earn you same type of treatment!

a good steak, seasoned correctly and cooker properly should never need any steak sauce, ketchup or anything else put on it. if you have to anything on a steak to be able to eat it, then it was a poor cut of meat or cooked wrong.

I use charcoal, too. If the weather is rainy I put the grill in the garage and leave the overhead door open. Plenty of ventilation and a dry cooking area.
