Default Sissy this time around.!

Ever since I got home from this last surgery , I,m having trouble getting up and staying mentally motivated..! I want to do something's ,but was having trouble getting up and actually doing anything . I started digging through old pictures and memorabilia just trying to get the juices flowing again and I stumbled across an old movie . (The Hunted) made in 1995 with Christopher Lambert , John Lone and Joan Chen.

It,s about a witness to an assassination with an egotistical Samurai master and a Ninja warrior with some of the best choreographic sword play I have ever seen.!
The juices are flowing and since Friday , have walked at least thirty miles through mountain roads.! I,m back at it I,m thinking age and all this medical crap is slowing me down a tad.!

I,m back at it and starting to feel pretty good , but is getting harder to get up.!
These doctors got to leave me alone and let me get healthy again. Frustrating.!
Every time I get feeling strong and high energy , I keep taking ten steps backwards for every step forwards. GO AWAY DOCTOR FRANKENSTEINS..!

Yeah the fight sequence on the train is pretty intense.

Those juices are flowing. They are just being trapped in those bags.

Keep plugging away Dango,,, and remind the doctors that they work for you.
Do what they advise of course for you recovery, but let them know that you are recovering and you want to continue to improve and not backslide due to another medication or whatever that they may think is a good idea, let them know that you are not an experiment and you have a definite say in your treatment and care and you know yourself better than they can ever know, most doctors I have dealt with seem to be responsive to this approach and appreciate a patient wanting to be more involved. Good luck.

dango - It is not unusual to have a down period after a physical and/or emotional trauma. God gave you that magnificent mind to do more than knock out amusing quips on FTF. Don't short sell yourself or your resilience. You have within you all you need to rebound from this tempoary setback. Cut yourself a break, conserve your energies for healing and keep a positive outlook.

Work with, not against those helping you to regain your best form. It won't all be easy, it won't all happen fast, but the journey that is your life takes effort and resolve. Set reasonable, yet challenging goals and do whatever it takes to attain those you deem necessary.

Nothing defeats atrophe and depression like positive forward motion, they cannot exist in the same environment.

Have faith! Go forward! Never Quit!

I firmly believe in the term (Know-Thy-self)..! I analyze my physical being sometimes , many times a day ! It depends a lot on the physical demands I place upon myself in that particular day . I,m more aware of listening and hearing what my body is telling me and not so much just the "Doctor-Gods" as to what messages and physical feel of things going on now more than ever..!

I know pain and the differences between normal good pain and damaging bad pain.! Some of these doctors are a (Direct Conflict) of basic physiology.!

EXAMPLE: I have unusually good hearing and have my whole life. That guy I mentioned in another post that they kept over night to take the hearing test three times was me.! I,ve got the hearing of a dog ,well above and well below the normal audio spectrum of human hearing .! Eeeek., I still have exceptional hearing still and hear things that I,m not supposed to.Like doctor , patient conversations..!

The (Conflict) , The guy in the room across the hall is whining and moaning about pain and wants , needs more and the whole conversation is debate based on doctor believes this patient is getting way enough and needs counseling NOT MORE PAIN MEDS..!

I go in , don,t ask for anything and (Doctor) ,does not want me to suffer ands writes things that I out-right refuse to take .! Lectures me on he feels I should not live with-out them .! Like a school boy , LECTURE..?

Bottom line here , I do believe that most people in the medical profession do genuflect nothing but the best of (INTENTIONS)..! (Shrink the Shrink) , I am reading , analyzing , scrutinizing the strength of faith in there own abilities and the resolve of there own confidence or arrogance right back at them.! I don,t always take their advice, just too too much diversity in there prognosis.!

In the past two years and some 13 or so specialists , doctors , etc., I only listen to two people! Myself and the one doctor that agrees with me by admitting , no way can He place any limits on me because he can not feel what I feel ,nor does he or can he understand the particulars of the capacities or abilities of this particular machine to begin with .! Walk a mile in my shoes , as it were.!

The thing I hate the most..? I AM NOT AN EGG SHELL..! I , NEVER WAS AN EGG SHELL..! I WILL NOT BE TREATED LIKE AN EGG SHELL NOR , WILL I GIVE ANYTHING UP OR QUIT ANYTHING. I LOVE DOING FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR OWN COMFORT..! I will in time learn my new limits and this will be a road I travel alone..!
