Default Silly Silly Chicago

Chicago Alderman has proposed a new ordinance lifting the ban on Chicago museums from displaying historical firearms. Sounds like an idea that is long overdue.

My favorite comment in the story references a Walther PP which was recovered during the liberation of Dachau concentration camp.

And even if someone were to get their hands on a historic gun, it's unlikely they'd be able to fire it.

"I don’t know if someone's going to find ammo for a German handgun from World War II all that readily," Clarke said, referring to the Levine's pistol Burke highlighted Wednesday.
Darn nice handgun. I wonder just how hard it would be to find any of that rare WW2 ammo for it.

Yeah, I heard that WWII ammo is notoriously hard to find. I think it comes in a odd little cartridge called the .32 ACP. I wonder where you could find some of that.

But keep the ban on handguns in place...
Those evil things are what nightmares are made of.....

Yep, Aldermen in the city of Chicago must be very knowledgeable.

Well you know once they shoot all the bullets out of the clip, that's it. They are usless then. Doubt they will find any loaded WWII clips out there either.

Just goes to show... People really do fear that which they DO NOT understand.
