There are five or six pair that build in the Bradford pears and cherry trees around the house every year. One claims the top of the light pole for his perch, another sits on the end of the roof ridge. Mother always said they were her favorite bird. There was usually a pair in the old dead tree behind her garden. Here the pear trees have already leafed out and the Red Buds are beginning to bloom. The Oak trees are just budding out. Spring might be early! Just might!

You know theres a difference between nekkid and naked....... Naked being you can look but can't touch....... nekkid is more fun, as being nekkid in the shower with your favorite squeeze.....

Beautiful, descriptive post. But is there really any winter in Mississippi? LOL
The robins here have a favorite perch, too. At dusk they get on their favorite antennae or light post and sing to welcome nightfall. So soothing.

Spring brings..........
I don't know about all the birds singing, cept maybe one. Cant stand the tune..... Clean the gutters, wash the windows, pressurewash the house, pull the weeds, mow the lawn yada yada yada........yep, spring is here.....
