I think there is a thread on this in the Legal & Politics section.

As a non-believer, it wouldn't bother me to have a biblical reference hidden on my optic. I don't think i've examined the scope for my SKS that closely.

Who gives a fat rat's ass, as long as the "targets" sighted in on with them sites and scopes are laying horizontal and not breathing after the rounds are fired.

Hell, if it bothers anyone that much, just say "amen" when your finished.

BWAHAHA!!!!!!

Hey, if someone don't like it, don't buy them. If they're issued, file them off or ignore it.

I like em'.

Do they offer them in different languages? Can I get one with a tantric chant?

I agree with those above.

I thought it was kind of funny when I read the article this morning. Nut seriously, who gives a damn if the sight is actually that good? I don’t…

Not a Christian, don't use optics.

I'm buying one. I want a "Jesus gun".

If it's the best sight for the military, then we should have them, if there is a better competitor sight, we should have them. I dont car whats on them as long as they are the best

I'm not very religious, but I honestly don't see a problem with this. It wouldn't bother me a bit to use one and my opinion is its just one more instance of people getting all worked up about something that might be considered offensive by someone, somewhere, somehow, and therefore we can't be allowed to just let it be. If you don't like it, DON"T READ IT! How hard is that?? I mean really?!?!

Sorry for the min-rant, I personally see the politically correct, don't risk offending the minority at the expense of the majority, mentality as one of the cornerstones of what's wrong with this country today.

Had a thought about this last night (yeah, weird i know): Would it bother you if there was a reference to a passage in the Koran or to a passage in the key text of some other major world religion? What about the good luck cat so popular in Asia?
