Yeah, your camera is set up to number photos that way- IMG for image and then each photo is assigned a number in order. Two suggestions to see your images:
1. Once you are in the folder of images, right click on blank white space a little bit away from the photos, and not on the photos themselves. Click on 'view' and some options should come up on the side. Click 'large icons ' or 'extra large icons' and it should show you a thumbnail of each image.
2. You can also right click on the images themselves and hit 'preview' and another program should open up and you can see the image very large. You can then scroll through them or view them as a slideshow. You will have to note the file numbers for the ones you want and go back into the folder (which should still be open) to access the files.
The first option will probably be best unless you want to see things up close first.
Haha, I just realized where you quoted me above that C: drive in parentheses resulted in a smiley face, lol.

Thank you so much, Shadamai. I will continue to explore it with your recommendations in mind. I'll get the hang of it, I'm sure. It just takes me a while.
I'm telling you, I'm not kidding when I posted in my signature "Honor Student: School of Hard Knocks.

Most cameras are going to have a setting you can adjust the "file numbering" which is either Continuous or Auto Reset. Continuous will mean that every picture you take will have a unique file name up until you have taken 10000 pictures and the numbering resets, Auto Reset means if you delete all the pictures on your card and start over the files will start with 0001 again, this can be annoying because you can end up with 4 or 5 files on your computer with the same name that are completely different pictures. I prefer Continuous numbering so that every file name is unique.

Getting very frustrated........
I can't post any of my pictures here. I was able to post some but now I can't anymore. Whenever I try I get the message "Remote file too large" or something like that. I resized the photos (I think) and I changed the size of the photos on my camera, too.
I CAN'T POST PICTURES AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
I have my camera set to take pictures that are 640X480. It says that size is right for "sending as email attachments". Is that too big for posting here on FTF? It looks like that's the smallest it will go on my camera.

So where are the pictures? Remember, if you don't have a picture, it didn't happen...
