Very Interesting. And I would snap up a new Sig 1911 in an instant. If it wasn't for this little fine print...

KLUNKER must be a semi-auto pistol 9mm or larger, or revolver of .38 caliber or larger. SIG SAUER reserves the right to reject any firearm submitted as a KLUNKER that does not meet our criteria

Well Christ, that leaves all the old, trade in, retired from battlefield captures without historical significance out in the cold. Now doesn't it??

Interesting program though... I wonder what a used Glock would cost me?

Not worth it IMO...but interesting none the less.

I mean I have plenty of rifles I'd trade for a sig.

You aren't even old enough to purchase a handgun, so of course it is not worth it. I'm just sayin'.

Buy a High-Point in 9 mike-mike. If you get a used one, that should run you 'bout a c-note or so.
