I love Christmas. But our modern society's consumeristic values totally kill the holiday spirit for me.

I enjoy the lights and trees. I don't like the massive shopping crowds and traffic. I enjoy the excuse to spoil my wife and daughter with gifts. Only thing I ask in return is time to go to the range, hugs and kisses.

I can understand that. You have a good batch of family-i don't. Its lookin like ill end up spending it w my worthless cousins. If so my uncles prediction is gonna prove true for this year.
