Default Shooting areas in Colorado

Does anyone know any good places to do some plinking in the front range area of Colorado? It's getting a little expensive ($17-24 for an hour) to get a rifle lane at the range. I know of a good one near Bailey, but it can be hard to get to, and the access road tends to be closed a lot in the winter months. I've got the itch but i don't know where to go...
