Both teams upheld their reputation. The Kings are phenomenal at salvaging games and series. The Hawks have this habit of going home in 3d.
These finals are special! Three out of 4 are Original Six. All teams that were dominant (blues, bruins, Anaheim) are out. Team Nasty is out (BB). And all four goalies are stars. (Now that Price is hurt, Habs are underdogs... There has to be one in every round)

I think the Blackhawks are done. I knew going into the playoffs they didn't have it in 'em. *cry*

The analyst in me is starting to contemplate. What is different about this Cup series. One, speed carries the day, not the brutal force. Two, every remaining contender has a top playing goalie. Yet, three, scoring is huge. What's up with that? Best I can tell see #1... To me high scores usually indicate lower quality game, because of the trash goals. But if someone can do it in the absence of blunders, I am excited. The Chicago-Bruins series last year was epic, this year good sportsmanship has already won, I see "good guys" on both sides.
