The older I get the better I think.

I think before I stand
I think before I sit
I really think before I bend to pick up something off the floor

I just had my 11 year old grandson here for about 10 days. It reminded me we all were once cute and full of 'piss and vinegar'!!!

have you ever noticed that the older you get, the more prescriptions you have to take everyday?

Yes, then you get a perscription to deal with side effect of the other perscriptions!

I stopped taking my cholesterol medicine a month ago an feel much stronger and better. I've been able to start running again and don't have the easy bruising marks on my arms that I had when even lightly scrapped them. I'm 70, so sooner I'll die anyway be it a results of high cholesterol or get run over crossing the street ..."it is appointed unto man once to die". Anyway, I'm ready anytime.

I just turned 58. In the last month, I had cataract with lens implant surgery done on both eyes ... It's great!

I now see better than 20/20 in both eyes, where before surgery I was uncorrectable to anything better than 20/40.

The entire procedure was about ten minutes on the table, no pain, no problems, and I could see better walking out than I could four years (one eye at a time, two weeks apart).

If you or anyone you know need cataract surgery but are nervous about the procedure, don't be!
Post-op, my eyes looked completely normal (not bloodshot, not sensitive, once the dialating drops wore off.

I take a couple eye drops for a while to reduce the chance of infection, inflammation, and potential swelling; another couple weeks and I'm done.

I still use "readers" for close work, the same ones I used when I wore contacts. My shooting has improved considerably, now that I can see the target clearly and without cataract glare.

I was always apprehensive about having stuff like LASIK done; the thought of messing with my eyes really made me itch...but the cataracts were growing worse (new glasses every two months), so I went for the first cataract op, then couldn't wait to get the second one done.

If you need it, get it done! You'll be glad you did.
