I'm an old geezer, but I don't get into the trap of reminiscing much. There's not that much good to look back on. But this forum at least gives us old folk a way to pass on what we've learned over the years to the younger people. So many of them are now growing up in a world devoid of morals, where opportunity to "get ahead" is seldom encountered. I hope us old folk can instill into the younger Americans the values and hopes we had in our youth, and encourage them to fight off the ever-increasing infringing on our God-given rights of freedom and dignity as human beings.

Maybe so, but it's better than the alternative.

Wills, I hope you listen to Winds. You trust her and you should. Confronting someone over this can only compound a tragedy. Remember that bible story, no one got cut in half and things sorted themselves out.
Prayin for ya!

You are so old, the candles on your birthday cake raised earths temperature by 3 degrees.
You are so old, when you were a kid rainbows were black and white.
You are so old, you fart dust.
You are so old, you sat next to Jesus in school.
You are so old, you walked into an antique shop and they sold you.
You are so old, your birth-certificate expired.
You are so old, if you to acted your age, you'd die.

A reporter was interviewing a 104 year-old woman: "And what do you think is
the best thing about being 104?" the reporter asked.
She simply replied, "No peer pressure."
------------------------------------------------------
Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly
widow and asked, "How old was your husband?"
"98," she replied. "Two years older than me."
"So you're 96," the undertaker commented. "Hardly worth going home, isn't
it?"
