Default Scientists Recreate Images From Brain Activity

The left clip is a segment of the movie that the subject viewed while in the magnet. The right clip shows the reconstruction of this movie from brain activity measured using fMRI.

This could possibly open up some new areas for psychology. Notice how the bird was reconstructed looking sort of like a man? And the female journalist looked a lot like a man to me in the reconstructed video.

That's creepy. I bet this becomes a new interrogation tool. Just ask a prisoner who his informant is and look at the picture in his brain.

I think the 5th ammendment should be all inclusive. Authorities shouldn't be allowed to use machines to read your mind or even analize your blood. That's forcing you to testify against yourself.

I don't drink because I want to. I drink to get rid of the voices in my head...

Very interesting and damn spooky in how it can be abused.
