Scary Thoughts: The New Secretary Of State
The Right Side

SOCORRO, New Mexico (STPNS) -- Last week in trying to understand what will happen to us under the regime of “The Mystery that is Obama,” we started looking at his appointees. Last week it was Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who, in my opinion, is an internationalist devotee to the agenda of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Here is what I think Obama’s selection of Hillary as Secretary of State will do to us.
First, what does the SOS (pun intended) do? According to the official Web site, she will:
Be the president’s principal adviser on U.S. foreign policy; Conduct negotiations relating to U.S. foreign affairs; Grant and issue passports to American citizens; Advise the president on the appointment of U.S. ambassadors and other representatives; Personally participate in or direct U.S. representatives to international conferences, organizations and agencies; Negotiate, interpret and terminate treaties and agreements; Supervise the administration of U.S. immigration laws abroad: Inform the Congress and American citizens on the conduct of U.S. foreign relations; Promote beneficial economic intercourse between the United States and other countries; Administer the Department of State; and Supervise the Foreign Service of the United States.
Power is what Hillary seems to be all about.
If you think about it, she must be so consumed by ambition and greed for power that she is willing to do anything to get it.
If not, why would she have put up with Bill? Now that she has her coveted power, what will she do? Let’s take a look at what she told us on her platform for her presidential run.
Hillary says: (1) Abortion – The right to “choice” must constitutionally be safeguarded (I cannot stand that we have accepted the lie that murder can be called “choice”). She will use her position to export and promote abortion worldwide, a situation God won’t tolerate.
(3) Civil rights – In a world strangling in hate, poverty and slaughter, Hillary’s platform was (A) Rights … to gays in domestic partnerships; (D) Women’s rights being interchangeable with human rights.
This is blurred vision! In the real world, life and death are the issues, not Hillary’s obsession with “sexual orientation.” Life and liberty will be second place under her leadership with her focusing instead on “popular” liberal agendas.
She also says: (6) Foreign policy – (A) Fight terrorism with cooperation (you cannot cooperate with terrorists who will kill you just because of who you are. Hillary’s weakness will be a green light for terrorist attacks); (B) The smartest strategic choice is maintaining peace (peace to a terrorist means either we are slaves or dead. If we are the only ones “choosing peace,” we lose our freedom or our lives. The terrorists won’t be the ones to compromise).
She says: (7) Gun control – A) Supports limiting access to guns by looking for early warning signs of violent intentions among purchasers. (Think about that statement. Hillary believes that someone should have the power to decide, based on what they think about what you may do, to deny your Second Amendment right.)
She says: (7) Health care – A) Support for universal coverage through affordable health-care options for all citizens (That gives us insight into what she will do as SOS based on the next item); B) Increase the commitment to the global AIDS crisis (Translated: look for our tax dollars to go to fund the un-fundable global AIDS problem, in the same degree that she would have funded national socialized medicine).
She says: (11) War and peace – A) Supports “re-deployment” out of Iraq in 90 days; B) Does not support construction of permanent bases in Iraq, but does support continual residual force. Interestingly, she favors a buildup of troops in Afghanistan. Why? Who knows, but all this is an example of what we will be facing. What Hillary believes in is what she will wield her power in favor of.
Hillary in power? Scary times ahead! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good fright.
