Maybe I'm a product of our modern times. Desensitized to everything around me. War, politics, shootings, all just the norm.
But when it comes to a family pet going to Heaven it just rips me apart. I wish you well Kevin. Im getting teary eyed just writing this. God bless you dude.

Sorry for you and your family's loss. My dogs are family and it's always tough to have one pass. Remember the good times and maybe you and your family can give a pound dog a chance at a great life. This is what I did when I lost my dog Bandit I had him 18 years a a month to the day when he passed. It was bad but I got our crazy dog Waffles from the pound an she hasn't taken his place but she has helped fill that hole in out family. She was on the list of dogs to be put down and we have her a new lease on life and for that we are both grateful.

So sorry, man. My little bud is "Cooper". Goes everywhere I do. I know the day will come when he's gone, but I don't look forward to it.
Thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear about Abby. Losing a pet is a horrible experience. I had to put my beagle Tucker down a few years ago and I couldn't stop bawling all the way home from the vet's office.

Kevin, it doesn't get better, just easier to cope. I lost Toby two days before Christmas and the hole is still gaping! He was at my feet for 15+ years and I feel your pain!
Thanks for the bad bone reminder and Godspeed to Abby.
Knee-mail inbound.
