There have been two white buffaloes born in the last few years that I know of. In 1994 "Miracle" was born. First white buffalo since 1933. The farmers graciously opened their farm to anyone who wanted to see and honor the sacred white buffalo.

The one in Janesville, Wisconson has since died. Interestingly enough, when I visited Hoover Dam in about 1998, there was a picture of this Wisconsin White Buffalo in the visitor center. The second one is in Connecticut just this past summer.

I thought it was just a myth! That's pretty cool, do they have the same life expectancy as a normal buffalo, or do they have some type of issue.

I think their life expectancy is the same as any other buffalo. Sometimes a buffalo born white gradually darkens as it ages.

Yeah, I looked at pics of white buffaloes after I posted. I found an adult one that was cream colored, it looked pretty cool.
