Started out as a shotgunner. Later started favoring rifles. Then I got into hand guns. I now have more hand guns than rifles or shotties.

Started out with 22's and a 20 Ga. Pump,...but growing up in an LE/Military family,..it would only be a matter of time. Started shooting my Dad & Uncle's handguns at 12...left college @ 19 with an associates degree to enter the Army's Warrant officer Flight program. Got my first " all mine" Colt Combat commander at 20, but was already competing with rimfire & big bore revolvers while in college. Because of losing both my Dad & Uncle over the last 25 years, because they were both LE, my collection increased in size of handguns. These days I shoot mostly handguns, followed by rimfire and shotguns. The few rifles I have aside from 22's only come out once in a blue....

I shoot mostly handguns, I like my revolvers because I dont have to chase brass. But I do like a good old 1911, nothing really competitive just good old going out with some buddies and having a fun time shooting paper at various distances. I have a few rifles and a couple shotguns but im more into handguns.

depends on the day, some days I can't hit nothing with my handguns (well, in my mind I can't hit anything, others seem to think I do ok), other days it's that issue with rifles.

but regardless of the day, I'm not good with a shotgun

All though I have carried a pistol everyday for the last 7 years I consider myself hands down to be a shotgunner. 80% of my shooting involes a shotgun and if I only grab 1 firearm to bring with me on a outing you can be sure it will certainly be a shotgun. Shotguns have also dominated my firearm collections hands down and I strongly believe shotguns are the most versital weapon in our arsenal today suited for a variety of task with a wide selection of ammunition suited for almost any task under the sun.

I love anything that goes boom!

I mostly just shoot my pistols since the rifle range here shut down. Even the private "range" I used to go to shoot my rifle at is a pain to go to now.

I do most of my hunting with my shotgun since we have more birds here than anything worth using a rifle on unless you can afford a hunting lease. (I can't)

Pistols for me. But I do have several (20-ish?) long guns. These days I shoot 22's more than anything rifle wise. I do like old rifles like 03A3, Enfield a lot too.
