In math, if you divide 1/3 you get .3333333... that goes to infinity. This is expressed with a line over .3, which I can't do with my phone. I will instead express this with an i. Its the same with .99999999... to infinity, or .9i

In an algebraic equation, what is done to one side must be done to the other.

Ready?

Let x=.9i
Multiply by 10 : 10x=9.9i
Subtract 1x : 9x=9
Divide by 9 : x=1

So this proves that .9i, or .9 that never stops, eventually reaches 1

Try not to get a headache.
