Default Remington 770

Know of a guy who is selling a Remington 770 .06 w/ 3x9x40 Nikon BDC $400 year old only 8 rounds put through it.
Question?
For those who shot this type of rifle how did you like it?
I have a Ruger M77 in a .06 love the gun and going to pass it down to my son so need something for me.

Thanks.

Stay away from the rifle---The 770s are crap and you can get a used mdl 700 which is worlds away better in terms of quality for the same price if you shop around. I also find used Rugers in the same price bracket.

You can get a nice Savage in the same price range.

I was thinking about going with the Remington 700 in a 300 or a Browning 300 also before I saw the above for sale.
