Several years ago I bought many of those "forever" stamps. One pays the going price and they are good until you run out of them. I think I bought them at around 35 cents. I rarely mail anything anymore, anyway.

I'm keeping them. They are good forever at the price I paid for them. You can still buy the "forever" stamps at the going rate. It will keep you from paying for any future rate hikes. Buy a ton of them now.

Yeah, that's the ones I have. My daughter said all stamps sold at the PO are forevers, now. I guess that way they don't have to reprint whenever there is a rate increase. It makes sense.

The U.S. Postal Service is broke. The Big early pensions have cost more than they can make. They need to close those Mall Post offices and sell all those jeeps. Start over with a cost effective service. Maybe something like this?

Still cheap as hell when you think about a piece of mail being delivered 3,000 miles away IMO
If you don't want to buy a stamp get in you car & hand deliver it
