I'm with you there, Cinder, on someone laughing at me while I cry. I don't like to let people see me cry, either. And that is a problem because I'm a softie and it doesn't take much for me to cry. I don't know how I'm going to get through the Mother Son dance at my son's wedding. My (future) DIL thinks it's sweet and vows to video every second of the dance. What can I say, I'm sentimental.

I feel bad because it was a gift years ago but it just doesn't do what I want. I like my cheapy old one better.

I get home from work, and I find the collapseable tv table in the middle of the room, with the kids cup sideways, and the lemonade splashed about three feet across the carpet, drying. And I'm anal because I insist on eating in kitchen.

My wife hung up my grandma's barometer/ thermometer that is probably 50 years old. It fell, breaking it. The nail she hung it by was a finish nail, in the drywall only, not in the stud.

This is the same day she broke my pipe, that I've had for twenty years.

I once had a cat like that. He would jump up on your lap and nuzzle ou to get petted. Then when he had enough he would bite the crap out of you. My dad had to get a dozen stitches because of that damned cat doing that.
