When I gave blood about a month ago they had the hardest time finding my veins. Now they want me to give platelets but since they had to keep jabbing me repeatedly I think I'll pass. I've gave blood all my adult life.

I used to donate blood, but not anymore. Chemo and all the IV's and shots that came with my cancer treatment turned my veins to asphalt. I get a blood panel yearly now and that's the only time I allow myself to be stuck.

I have deep veins, they have to get a flashlight out to find them.
