I visited all 3 LGS's around me and they were standing in front of bare shelves and behind a counter piled up with people asking when new stock would be in/ordering/ammo/mags, I stood around long enough to hear "I have no idea" a couple of times and moved on. This drought looks like a lasting one.

My family goes through a local ffl who does alot of the ordering for us if he does not have anything in stock. He called his supplier 30 minutes after opening yesterday and he was told he had already done 70k in business in the first 30 minutes and was on track to do over 500k before days end. Hopefully people stocked up while they could.

I went to my LGS in Marietta GA, it was so packed I honestly got upset and left without purchasing anything. I figure I will just purchase as much as possible online from now on.

I am sure it will blow over like the last time. I was at Cabela's in Hoffman Estates, IL today and there was at least 30 guys waiting to do the fed. form on any of 5 computers they have set up. One of the gun guys said it's like we are giving away black guns. Pistols popular too! Out of a lot of the reloading stuff I use also. Lucky I have been stocking up.

Granted I don't keep much inventory, but my little home based shop is down to 3 handguns. Everything sold within a day or two and I have people who want to put 50% down and wait 6 months (hopefully) on RRA ARs. I'll let the cash sit in the bank and collect interest.

It's crazy around here too! A lot of sales on ARs and pistols, high cap mags, large boxes of ammo.
