I hope the panic continues... Im starting to see a few neat old guns starting to appear...
Theres one locally I wish I could afford, a Winchester-Lee M1895 straight-pull bolt action... Never even heard of one...
Still hopin' somebody has that "extra" IH Garand thats just collecting dust....

Research that one before you buy it. If I'm not mistaken, I think it had a tendency of trying to take people's faces off if it wasn't reassembled after cleaning just right...

Yup. Thats why you havent heard of it. Its a super dangerous flawed design.

I heard about it from a hunting article I believe was written back in the 40's or 50's. The guide had been using it for years and years, then on that particular hunt he fired a round, and the bolt went through his face and they found it about 60 yards behind them.
But, other info I found said it was not a bad gun at all, as long as your veeeerrrryyy careful to put it back together perfectly. Apparently it was easy to mess up...

My LGS has about 20 sold firearms of all types, including my Colt LWC on the floor behind his counter because he can't get thru to NICS. "Mad"

 ..... They look pretty neat, but its for the better, last thing I need is another weird caliber.. 6mm USN (US Navy).... Dont think ill find that at the local wally world

I went to go to my LGS to shoot today like I do on most of my days off. People were at the counter 3 deep wanting to see what little stock they had left. The shelves were freaking empty. I live in Las Vegas and there are prob 15 gun shops in town. I went to 5 today and they were the same story.
PS grab your PMAGs and high caps before they are gone.

Oh and PMAGs went from 14.99-16.99 to 20.99-25.99 over night. Thank god I got my AR on Election Day and bought 8 PMAGs to go with it.
