Default This really happened to me today!

I was coming out of a big box store after visiting my future big screen tv when an LEO rolls up to me in the parking lot. He rolled down the window and asked, "Are you the lock out?" I replied, "No sir (I am always polite to police and fire rescue) I am not." An employee motions down an aisle and says, "He's down there."

This happens to be the same aisle I am parked in so I follow the patrol car down the aisle and I hear the stranded motorist say "It won't work, it won't unlock" as he is pushing the button on the keyless remote fob on his key chain. He says to the LEO, "It's not my truck and the door won't unlock".

Yes, I had to jump in.

I call over, "Did you try the key?" The stranded motorist looks at me kinda bewildered. I said to him, "Put the key in the door and turn it". The LEO give me that "this is my life" look and I turned and went to my car.

Whats he trying to do, STEAL it!?!?

Aaaand just one more reason/example why i could NEVER be a cop...just another person i would be sorely tempted to shoot.....yanno, a little chlorine in the gene pool kinda thing....

Tell you what, my keys dont work well in the doors on my truck because they have seldom ever SEEN a key due to the remote lock button. It is a PAIN in the rear to unlock the door with a key!

As I was walking in, he was stuffing the bed with boxes of shop towels. I assume it was his boss's truck or a co-worker's.
