Must have been the nickname of the deep hood. Burned out cars, people freely dealing drugs. This was 20 years ago, maybe it's improved.

Eff my job, I'm doing this for the forum!
End of November you say? Around Turkey bird time? About that time of year we should have plenty of snow on the ground here in VT - should make things interesting. I can probably manage a long weekend/half week off work for this.
Anybody up in the Northeast want to join up?

Not to piss on anyone's cornflakes but isn't late November deer season in the Northeast? Probably not the best of times to be living in the woods, unless you got them flash orange long johns and such.

No can do the whole week thing. My wife would be none to happy to miss out on a scuba diving vacation so I can practice "Bushcraft FTF Style" all by my lonesome. While I wear the pants in my family I also suscribe to the following:
A happy wife is a happy life.
I will tune in with much anticipation to hear the exploits of those that are able to pull off such an undertaking.

Why take a backpack with items you think you may need, Shouldn't it just be you and the knife and a loin cloth all Tarzan style, Big Boy. I am game for this, plenty of bugs out in them woods to eat.

No cell phones, A backpack loaded with whatever you think you'll need for a week.
I'm projecting out for what I think will be the wrap up date for the class, and submitting vacation today.
Who will challenge me?

I WILL do that one day. Right now my vacation days are spent with my family. My wife would flip if I took time off, left her with all 4 kids, and just went out in the woods with next to nothing just to show I can hang. LOL!
I could survive the woods, but when I got home she would kill me slowly with a dull butterknife.

Since I'm starting school soon, I might have to make this a weekend venture, even though that's not nearly as cool
Are there restrictions on what you CAN'T bring? i.e. a gun, flint rocks, that kinda stuff. I'm sorry if that's a stupid question, but I wanna do it right
