Powerline right-of-way makes me thing somebody might been a weeeeee bit late for deer season and maybe a little too determined to get that second shot on.
An idiot hunting walking the opposite fence on a field we were hunting with a buddy of mine almost shot me with a 30-06 when he took a quick shot, through a scope at a barely despotted deer that popped out maybe four feet in front of me. I came very close to putting some buckshot in him but resisted.

If you cut off weeds they will grow back with gusto. You need to pull them out by the roots. Don't use Roundup or any other herbicide at full concentration. It works as fertilizer if it is not diluted according to the directions.
You need to do one of two things. One is to pull everything out with the roots. Two is to spray with Roundup when the plant is emerging with green leaves.
Do not allow the plant to go to seed.
keep this up for ten years.

But these things are like saplings!! I'm not talking about Burdock....I'm talking woody sapling sort of things. I have no idea what they are. I can't kill them and I've been trying for about 4 years now. I don't know if I can actually dig them out by the roots. I'm not as young as I used to be.

I was looking back on what I've ate this past week...a ton of fast food and drank a few beers...nothing healthy. I'm not over weight(yet lol) but I have a family history of heart problems and diabetes...figured I might wanna start taking better care of myself now rather than later.
